Frequently Asked Questions

What is therapy with you like?

Collaborative, conversational, humorous, and grounding. You don’t have to be in crisis to show up—sometimes the best sessions happen when it feels like there’s “nothing to talk about.”

My style is down-to-earth and real. I believe therapy can hold both depth and lightness. I laugh easily and believe sometimes a curse word or witty meme can say it best. I will invite you to take a deep breath and be your unedited self.

What is your stance on sex and relationships?

I endeavor to be sex-positive and non-shaming, whether you’ve had many sexual experiences, none at all, or somewhere in between. I welcome conversations about sexuality, pleasure, intimacy, kink, non-monogamy, and relationships of all kinds—without judgment.

Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?

All of my sessions are virtual and are open to anyone located in the state of California

How long will therapy take?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people come in with a specific focus and work short-term (a few months). Others prefer a longer process, with space to go deeper into their stories and patterns. We’ll check in along the way to make sure therapy is supporting your needs.

What if I’m new to therapy (or nervous to start)?

That’s completely normal. We’ll go at your pace, and there’s no “right way” to show up. My job is to create a space where you feel safe enough to bring whatever parts of yourself are ready to be seen.

Do you offer a free consultation?

I do! I offer a free 20-minute video call to see if we might be a good fit. This is a chance for you to share what brings you to therapy, ask questions, and get a sense of my approach before committing.

What does it cost?

My fee is $190 for a 50-minute session. I do not currently accept insurance, but I offer a limited number of sliding-scale spaces.

How do you take payment?

use the Ivy Pay platform, which accepts all major credit cards. Payment is due at the time of session.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the expected cost of therapy. While it isn’t possible to predict in advance how many sessions you may need, you can request a written estimate at any time. Your total cost will depend on your goals, the number of sessions, and your unique circumstances.
